Breif History: John S. Baron and Associates began in 1948 with John Baron at the helm. After considerable growth his son Gary came on board in 1973. John was responsible for Tennessee and Gary covered Kentucky. The business continued to grow throughout the 70's and early 80's.
The agency's first line was Preformed, which PSA still represents today.
In 1982 John Baron Died unexpectedly. Gary took over at that time. He then changed the company name to Power Service Agency. The years to come were very exciting with the addition of Pirelli Cable (Prysmian) and Hughes Brothers and to an already extensive line card. Today Power Service Agency has three outside salesman and is based in Nashville TN

Power Service Agency picked up Old Castle Precast in March of 2011. This line is growing rapidly, with recent approvals and sales at Nashville Electric Service, Middle Tennesse EMC, Murfreesboro Electric Department, Columbia Water and Power among a growing list.
Power Service Agency, Prysmian Cable and Gexpro Louisville won big with GE Appliance Park Louisville Ky. The project is the result of GE bringing manufacturing jobs back to Louisville from China and Mexico
Prysmian Fiber and Preformed Line Products awarded 144 Count, 180 mile fiber loop connecting all of MLEC's substations
Prysmian does well in Western KY with Fiber Projects @ Pennyrile REC, Kenergy and Warren REC.
